    Hey guys,

My Magsafe adapter just died on me. No lights or charge. I have the T shaped version that came with my 13" MBP. I tried my friends L shaped adapter and it charges so I can confirm that mines is dead.

I do have Applecare until next year so I'm pretty sure they will replace it at the Apple store? I was wondering if I need to bring in the laptop too or will the adapter alone work?

    Just Take The Adaptor

Thats all they need, a quick test to confirm (and your Applecare details) and they will replace it. No need to cart your Air in too.

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

Make sure you know the serial number of your computer - it'll make things MUCH easier

Where did the OP mention an Air?

And, have you ever really "carted" a MacBook Air anywhere?

    OOp

But the advice is the same. Applecare details and the Magsafe should get the OP sorted out in no time.
