MagSafe Wallet + Clear Case (iPhone 13 Pro and later)

Hi. Just wondered if anyone had a 13 Pro, MagSafe clear case and MagSafe Wallet combo?
If so, does the 'Find My' functionality work OK or is it unavailable?

I note that, with the iPhone 12 Pro clear case and wallet, 'Find My' apparently doesn't work. So, just wondered if they updated it for the 13 Pro (and the 14 Pro, if known).

I've bought an official clear case for my forthcoming 14 Pro and want to know whether, if I buy a Wallet, the 'Find My' ability would be available. I'm presuming that, if it works with the 13 Pro clear case, it'll work with the 14 Pro one.

I'm not sure what difference the clear case would make, but I just got a MagSafe wallet today and Find My for the wallet works fine on my 12 Pro with an Apple MagSafe leather case. I don't know if that helps at all.

Last year Apple updated the MagSafe wallet to support Find My. The MagSafe wallet that they released when the iPhone 12 came out didn’t support it. Maybe that’s what you are thinking of. It didn’t have anything to do with the case really.

If you buy a MagSafe wallet currently from Apple it will work with Find My.

There was definitely a problem with the clear case for the 12 in respect of ‘Find My’. See the note on this page:

This would seem to suggest that the 13 clear case will work, but I’m slightly hesitant just because it doesn’t mention ‘Pro’. Perhaps this is only referring to the standard 12/13 cases and not the cases for the Pro.

So if anyone has a clear case for a 13 Pro, a Wallet and confirm that ‘Find My’ does work, I’d be very grateful.

Wow that’s so weird that the clear case would interfere with this. The only Find My integration is it detects when the wallet is removed from the phone and marks that location. There are no electronics in the wallet for tracking like iOS devices or AirTag. I was really disappointed in that when I bought my wallet.

Oh that’s very strange. Can’t help confirm, my 13 pro max uses the leather case with my MagSafe wallet.

I have the Apple clear case and wallet and find my works. I have an iPhone 13 Pro.

I went ahead and ordered a dark cherry wallet and can confirm that 'Find My' works with both my old 13 Pro clear case and my new 14 Pro clear case.
