MagSafe Wallet will be discontinued (prediction)

I predict that the MagSafe wallet will be discontinued upon the release of the iPhone 18 Pro and Ultra. Specifically because of the Ultra. According to dimensions, the wallet sticks out and does not quite fit well, not to mention the rumor that MagSafe may be excluded. Apple surely would want everything they sell to be relevant to the entire current lineup, which is why Apple discontinued the Lightning MagSafe Duo and Battery Pack when the USB-C iPhones came out. A MagSafe accessory that is compatible with every iPhone except the "best" and most expensive one will stick out.

Another reason is that it's still FineWoven. It only lasted a year for the phone cases, but stuck around for the wallet. Even when replaced by TechWoven, the wallet was left alone. Apple is not giving attention to the wallet, which is what they have historically done before discontinuing products like the Mac Pro.

Personally, I love my 3 leather wallets and will use them as long as possible.

That’s a good prediction. Considering the air has its own MagSafe battery , makes sense they’d do the same with the wallet for the ultra. Maybe make a square battery too

I got a FineWoven one last year with my 17PM and it had held up quite nicely, no complaints

Who says the wallet needs to be compatible with every single device? The iPhone 16e didn't have MagSafe, and they didn't discontinue the wallet then. By your logic, they should probably discontinue the MagSafe chargers while they're at it. Don't want people to see that they're still selling the charger and wishing they could use it on their Ultra.

If the Ultra did have MagSafe, having the wallet on there would make it even thicker and probably a bit cumbersome and unbalanced when open...so not sure if I'd want to use the wallet on there anyway.

there is no way a wallet will fit on the ultra i have a ultra dummy unit based off leaks and no matter what oreintation any credit or debit card is longer then the ultra no matter if its vertical or horizontal. theres no way a wallet will fit without hanging off regardless of what position. the ultra will also be awkward on any magsafe stand or car mount

Thanks for showing that. I guess the only way a wallet would work is if it covered the lenses taking into account the raised area. Doubt very much anything like that will be produced.

Not the end of the world for me wallet wise, I do want my Popsocket Low Pro to have no issues though.

That’s a bummer. Looks like it’s pro max again for me this year then
