Well, I visited the discussion board hoping to find answers to a MacOSX random disk disconnection issue.
I just accidentally stumbled into this thread, which, in fact is entirely off-topic itself ("iMac"). An ergonomics issue at best.
OK let me vent my opinion, just in case the initial thread creator wasn't spamming: The desk is very ugly indeed, way before you put an iMac or Apple Display on it. I'd go for white surfaces, possibly with pale wood (birch) finishing at the edges.

Color is kind of Mahogany, But I went a different way for a desk for my 21.5 iMac Think fancy wooden hospital table!
