I want to add an html signature to Mail. I found the typical instructions but they say to go to the Signatures folder at Library > Mail > Signatures. I've created a signature but that folder and file isn't there. Is it somewhere else?

Just create the Signatures folder if it's not there. It's not there on mine either, haven't tried that method, but give it a whirl.

Mal, there's supposed to be a file in the folder after I create a signature in Mail. I have to replace that file with my signature .webarchive file saved from Safari. If I can't find it then I can't replace it. Mail must be saving those signature files somewhere, but it's not in a Signature folder.

Gotcha, missed that part. I went and actually did some searching this time, and found the files in question under "~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures/". It contains the .webarchive files that have my current signatures.

this is frustrating, I don't have anything in my Mail folder except a folder called "Bundles". And I have a signature setup in Mail. When I do a spotlight search for .webarchive I find nothing.

Spotlight doesn't search the Library by default, so add a criteria to include it. In the Finder (not from the Spotlight search in the menubar) search for .webarchive, then click the + button in the bar above the search results. In the dropdown that says "Kind", go down to "Other...", and then search for System Files. Select it and hit ok, then change the dropdowns so it says "System Files" "are included". That should include the files in the Library now.

Did you try the path I mentioned? You can simply hit Command-Shift-G in the Finder and enter "~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures/" (without the quotes) to go directly to the folder.
