Mail 5 fails to upgrade Library

    Hi,

    I just did upgrade to Lion and I am having issues with Mail. It crashes trying to update my Mail Library:

    I have the same problem, anybody have an idea what could be the problem?

    I see the same issue.

    One thing I did that may have caused that:

    While Mail was updating, I was bored so I "surfed" the settings app and clicked on mail, contacts & calendar - at least I assume this is what I did wrong from reading the error message.

    I also had some mail plugins (tabbed mail, I think http://simplicity.fm/mailtabs/)

    My mail was just stock and I didnt do anything weird during the upgrade.

    Same here, no plugins and no additional configuration steps after upgrading. I just started Mail and it crashed.

    It looks like people of Apple Support Forums are also complaining about it and tons of other issues with Lion.

    Somewhere I found the advice to just keep trying. It worked for me.

    Me too. I deleted the Mail folder from Library, then it worked.
