Hi all.

Is this just my Mac (10.8.2) or did the programmers get this backwards:

If I set View->Organize by Conversation on and then set View->Sort By->Date and View->Sort By->Ascending, it looks fine at first with the older conversations at the top. However, if I expand a conversation, the messages within it are in descending order. And, if I switch to View->Sort By->Descending, then the conversations are newest on top but expanded messages are oldest on top!

What's going on? Has it always worked like this? I just started using Apple Mail app with 6.0 when I installed ML. This makes no sense and I hope someone can tell me how to change it.

Thanks,

David

In Mail, go to Preferences->Viewing then at the bottom, untick show most recent messages at the top.
