Mail 8.0 - marking message as Not Junk repetitively not working

I have marked some messages as Not Junk but the following day, the same sender is indicated as Junk again irrespective of what I do. Any ideas?

Did you change just in Mail or did you change on the web client to see if it helps?

My mail is routed through Gmail (and that's arriving "clean")
