Hi, in my mac mail, in the icon on the doc, there is the number 1 with a read circle around it. this obviously means how many unread messages I have (whether it be 2,3 4, ect....)

anyway, I have the indicator saying that I have 1 message unread. Problem 1 is that I cant find this message. Normally when I go into mac mail, each folder will have a number next to it indicating how many messages are unread. BUT....in this case, I see no indicators. Basically its like I have a ghost message. all have been read, but the little mail icon tells me one is not?

    any suggestions?

You should be able to mark all of them as read and that should take care of the issue for you.

In Junk? Try top menu bar Window > Junk to see if any messages have automatically been sent to wherever they get sent (I don't use Mail).
