Mail and iCal crash during full-screen startup

When I start up my MacBook Pro I have iCal and Mail set to launch in fullscreen mode. Unfortunately both iCal and Mail become unresponsive and when switched back to windowed mode they end up crashing, when I re-launch the apps they work fine.

I also startup iTunes 10.4 in fullscreen mode and it works fine on startup.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yep, same problem, full screen mode is broken in all of the Apple programs (including Mail, Photo Booth, iTunes etc.). They're unresponsive or have interface glitches, and don't become full screen at all.

Ok it works fine if I use a new user account - how about you FroMann? Is there any way I can 'reset' my current user?

No idea, I just have iCal and Mail automatically startup when my computer starts up. If I just click them at any time they launch fine.
