Okay, I'm generally pretty happy with Mail and on the whole, it has served me very well in the past few years. However, I was just wondering if anyone else is getting mixed results when sending a message to multiple recipients.

Mail will go through all the normal motions of sending a message, it makes the right noises, and it even puts the message in my Sent Messages folder, but for some reason, it randomly decides not to send everything every now and then. Has anyone else had the same problem? I only seem to be getting it when I send to more than one person at a time.

Oh, and for the record, it's Mail 2.0.2 and it's working perfectly otherwise. It just sometimes forgets things (but who doesn't :p ). It's not a big enough problem to make me want to change programs, it's just a little frustrating.

Sounds more like your email servers doing, or the settings for that server. I personally haven't noticed this problem and have frequently used multiple recipients for group work during school. Just wondering how do you know it doesn't send everything right away? does it on the next start up of mail it shows its sending? However I can say it is frustrating when ppl don't get email asap.

Yeah, I didn't think it could be an ISP thing.

It's been happening on and off over the past few months so it's not like the Mail gets sent eventually. It's frustrating as all hell, but I'll have a chat to my ISP and see what they have to say. They're usually pretty good about this sort of thing.

Thanks for the advice. :)

Update: It's not an ISP thing. It seems to be when I send Mail through the Address Book's group feature. I'm glad I've worked it out now. :)

Does anyone else have the same problem? That is, if you select a group in Address Book and right click to send an email, Mail pretends you've sent it but it doesn't actually arrive in their inboxes. :(
