Mail and music in ios10

Do people find mail and music usable in ios10? I find music is just centred around Apple Music now and it's not easy to navigate your own music stored on the device. And mail just confuses me, it plays around with the order of emails and groups them together inappropriately. Is there a way to change these in settings?

Have you tried changing some threading options in the Mail settings?
