Mail and Ventura

I updated my M1 MBA from Monterey to Ventura 13.1 today and since the update Mail has been randomly quitting.

Is this a known bug, hopefully with a solution? (I did a search and didn't find anything helpful to my problem).

Not experienced nor heard of anyone experiencing that. If a restart doesn’t fix it you could try removing and re-adding your mail account(s)?

thanks for the reply. I deleted the mail plist file and that didn't solve the issue.

the other odd thing is now it's difficult to delete some emails ... no pattern but they just won't go away until I delete them on my phone ... then they are deleted on the Air.
