Mail app acting strange

Sometimes the Mail app is acting strange.

When I open up the Mail app, sometimes it would open up with a blank Inbox saying No Messages Selected then I would tap on the top left to go back to the Inbox and then I can see my messages.

Another thing, is that when I open up the Mail app, it would automatically just go to the message content instead of opening it up directly to the Inbox itself.

Is this a bug?

After a restarting the phone it’s fine now.

On Mac I use Mail exclusively.
But on iPhone - after 2 days struggling - I switched to Outlook. Difference is huge, suggest to try it.
