Mail.app, Alternative to cmd-click

Is there a way to open links from Mail and have them load in the background instead of bringing Safari to the front every time?

I was thinking maybe I could use BetterTouchTool if there wasn't a better way.

Yeah, that works too. I guess I was looking for a setting to just make it always open in the background with just a normal tap of the trackpad. Thank you though, that is better than cmd-clicking.
