Aloha!
So it turns out my Mail app's spotlight function doesn't work. At all. Not one bit. When I search, no matter what the search, i get 0 results. Is there a hidden spotlight index file specifically for mail that I can delete?
Also, none of my smart folders work... which I'm guesing is a function of the spotlight being completely incapable.
Any ideas?

EDIT: Just tried re-indexing my main drive, to no avail.

Give this a giggle:

1) First of all make a backup of your ~/Library/Mail folder.

2) Delete the "Envelope Index" file.

3) Restart Mail and click Ok to the import mail message that comes up.

Hopefully that should fix your probs 🙂
