I've heard Myke Hurley on a few podcasts (Upgrade today, maybe Connected from last week) mention that he uses the mail app to archive mail.

When I force touch, I only see three options: Flag, Unread, and Trash. I don't see anything about Archive, and I would love to be able to archive mail.

I've looked at apple.com, and haven't seen anything about how to use their native apps. Anybody know if you can use the native app to archive? Or maybe he's using the Gmail app?

Thanks

Alex

You need to go in to the advanced mail settings on your phone and select the option to have discarded emails archive instead of delete.
