I've recently begun having problems with my email attachments not being visible. I know they are there because the message indicates there is an attachment and if I blindly click around, I can find it.
A search online found a terminal command that will fix the problem but it appears to only be temporary. The problem comes back. I recently did a reinstall of Yosemite for a whole slew of problems I was having but the problem remains. The terminal command I use to bring back the attachments is:
defaults write com.apple.mail PreferPlainText -bool FALSE

As I said, it works but only temporarily. Any idea how to solve this issue permanently?
