iPad Pro Mail app freezing up

The mail app on my iPad Pro has started freezing up at times, and if I close it out and open it back up it has the app borders in place and recent emails across the bottom of the screen, but all are blank, just outlines. A hard close does nothing and I have to reboot to get it working again. Very annoying. Has anyone encountered this?

Which mail server are you using?

Seems more like connectivity issues to me. If you're using iCloud then I know they have had a few issues recently, maybe it's affecting you more than others.

I would do a restore from a recent backup. That should resolve any corrupted OS software, including the Mail app.
