...While technically not my first post here, it is my first post from my first mac! I couldn't resist when the SR MacBook Pro came out on Tuesday... So far, really enjoying OS X and the fit and finish of the 'book!

...Now, I've got a newbie question for y'all!

I've set up my gmail account to work in mail.app (ver. 2.1.1), and after a while, all messages were synchronized. The strange thing is that none of my folders are showing - i.e. where it should say "Inbox", etc. on the left hand pane, there is nothing except for the number of unread messages in the folder. I was wondering if this had something to do with a colour preference (I don't think I've changed anything!), or...? If anyone has some suggestions, please don't hesitate to let me know!

Thanks!

PS - could include a screenshot (but how does one take a screenshot!??)

Okay, so I'm really new - this was a dumb question after all...

Upon restarting my machine, I found that the only reason why I couldn't see the folder names was because Mail was moved slightly off the screen to the left. The giveaway would have been the missing 'jelly bean' buttons on the top left of the screen...

Still getting used to this... Lots to learn!!

Thanks anyway!
