Mail.app Problem.

I know they say not to use generic titles but I don't know how to explain this so I made a video of it

I tried to go to prefs and enter my password but the box still doesn't close

Perhaps you deliberately don't want to do this, but try clicking that Remember My Password (or whatever it was). Otherwise, Repair Permissions (Onyx is best for that).
