Mail.app problemo

Hi All,

I did a search and didn't see anyone else had this prob, but I thought I woudl check.

Since upgrading to 10.4.9 on my G5 powermac the mail.app is opening for a short amount of time and quitting before any mail is downloaded, any ideas? anyone else suffering from this?

Okay, well start by dragging the Mail preference file to the Desktop. It's a file named com.apple.mail.plist and is in a folder called Preferences. This will reset your preferences and customised settings to their defaults so you'll need to re-enter them. However, if it doesn't work, you can put the file back to regain all your settings. Do this all whilst Mail is closed though.

Try repairing permissions (in Disk Utility)
