Mail.app search entire message

Hi all folks,

i'm trying to search messages using the built in search tool on mail.app but it works ony if i search for subject, from or to. Not for the entire message.

I googled and i find this hint: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20051014060342876 but it doesn't help me...😕

I tried to reset the mail index via Onyx, but nothing changed.

Using spotlight i have an odd behavior: i'm able to find on some old mail, but not on the newer ones.😱

I wonder if anyone has any ideas as I now am having this same problem. I have already rebuilt the mailbox as well as reindexing spotlight.

What OS version do you use?
I can search entire messages with 10.5.1 no problem.
Did you check the 'entire message' button in the mail window before starting the search?
