I have a few questions regarding syncing mail on iPhone 4 and hope someone here can help.

I have multiple Exchange accounts setup and I have set Push to off and Fetch to manually. The question/problem I have is when I open the mail app, all accounts sync. Is there a way to configure the Mail app such that when I open it, it does not sync until I press the refresh button?

My other question is when I sync one account, both sync and I don’t want this. I would like to sync each account individually at my own choosing.

All those settings are for when 'Mail' is closed.' When it's open anything's fair game.

So, short answer: You can't have what you want.

Long answer: Enter Airplane mode before opening 'Mail.' That'll do it, but it's a pain. That's not a great answer, but it's all I got.
