iPad Pro Mail App - Text (body) glitches/flickers

Recently when opening my Mail app on my iPad Pro I am getting horrible text flicker and lag. For example, I will open an email and when I try to scroll the text it all flickers horribly and also some text will ‘stay’ while the SAME text will move so there is a double-effect of the text on the screen.

Anyone know what this is? I don’t want to DFU this thing unless I have to.
