looking for an iOS email app that will automatically update the new email count for gmail labels (folders)

Any options besides the Google gmail app? Tried Outlook but you have to open the folder to have it update the new email count.

In the stock iOS Mail app, you can't set individual Gmail folders (labels) to push as can be set for iCloud or Exchange...and I'm sure you know that.

However, in the Mail app itself you can add folders from your Gmail account under the "Mailboxes" heading and, in my experience, the "unread" count for these individual folders will update on its own.

I'm not quite sure what feature you are looking for. You might check e-mail apps such as Airmail, Spark or Email by Easylido those three are quite full features although each apps has it's limitations as well.

I send everything directly to folders/labels in my gmail account to keep them organized. Barely any emails end up in the inbox. The gmail app will auto update the unread email count on those folders/labels so I don't have to go into each one to know if I have new mail. I am looking for another mail app other that this one that will do the same thing. So far I haven't found any other app but was hoping someone knows of one. This is my top feature in an email app for me since I run several gmail emails for my work.

I think I can derive the answer of my question to you from your last post. You seem to want full iOS notifications for your Gmail account email that has been filtered at the Gmail site to be labeled and archived (skipping the Inbox).

What you can do is, at the Gmail webmail site, uncheck "Skip the Inbox (Archive it)" for your filters. Then set up iOS stock Mail to work with this...change a swipe action to "Archive" so that it removes the "Inbox" label.

This way your emails will be labeled at Gmail, you'll get a notification on you iOS device when they come in, and then you can read the emails then swipe them out of the Inbox.
