Hey, two emails in my mailbox have two exclamation points (!!) in the flagged column. I was unable to find what this meant in the help doc or on google. I was wondering if someone on here might know what this means. The two emails were sent via forms on my websites so I imagine maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway, any insight on these crazy exclamation points would be much appreciated.

When the sender clicks "high priority" or "attention" or whatever their email program uses to indicate that it's an important email, it comes up in mail with !!

If you look at the full headers of one of those messages (shift-command-H), you will probably find an "Importance: high" header in there. All it means is that the message sender thinks that the mail is extremely important.

Most messages so flagged seem to be exceptionally unimportant...
