Mail Being Stupid

Mail keeps asking for my Gmail password, and it keeps saying that it was "rejected". I am 100% sure it is the right password as the password works fine when I log into the web interface.

Can someone help me out? I'm about to blast my computer with a shotgun.

Did you enable POP access in your Gmail account settings. You have to enable POP access at www.gmail.com before Mail can download your email.🙂

I don't know what happened, but the problem seems to have fixed itself.
