Mail Broke!!!

Whenever i try to get mail from my gmail.com account it says the connection to the server imap.gmail.com failed... ive tried everything!! i did the CAPTCHA thing, checked my password, filled in the other field with all the right information, changed my gmail settings to dont always use https, im really lost!!! i want this to work and my other aol.com one works fine... any ideas??

mine does this randomly, always in the morning, but it always starts working a few hours later
