My gran's asked me to have a look at her old iMac. She keeps getting rather inappropriate emails in her account and she doesn't have a spam blocker so she's asked me to have a look for one for her. she uses Netscape for her email and internet at the moment.

I was haping you could suggest to me a mail client to recieve pop mail that has a built in spam filter. Also any suggestions of another browser would be helpful too (as Netscape is a bit naff)

Thanks

iCab is a nice browser for OS 9.

Not sure about an email client though. I think that will be hard to come by with a built-in spam filter.

Eudora 4.x was about the only thing available at the time and there is an add-on Bayesian filter for it but whether it can run on Mac OS 9.1, I don't know. Spam Sieve is the name, I believe.

The only other thing that I remember being available was Outlook Express.
