Mail client Gmail not working various apps

I've installed various apps but emails aren't arriving in my inbox

Mail pilot
Mailbox
Apple mail
Airmail

It's all the same it seems to struggle to recieve emails even those I have sent directly from the client to the same address it just stores it in the sent inbox


Can anyone advise how I can fix this issue

It seems the thunderbird client works but that's looks a mess and I don't like it, a mess on a 27 inch monitor
