Mail crashing because of last Leopard update?

After weeks working fine my Mail is now consistently crashing every time I highlight a message to view in preview pane.

It began yesterday almost right after installing the new Leopard update with the new iTunes. Is anyone else having this problem?

Also, at the same time I had installed the to-do list application Anxiety, which syncs with Mail and Calendar. I thought it could be this, but I uninstalled it and the problem persists.

Thoughts?

Is there one piece of mail that is being highlighted or any piece. Maybe it's a bad piece of mail.

unfortunately no. it's everything. when i go to double-click on an email to view it the whole thing crashes....everytime...

The same thing is happening to me with Thunderbird.
