Mail does not work after 10.7.4 update

I have updated my MacBook Air 13" (Mid 2011) last week and I can't open Mail thereafter.

Please help.

might fix it (there's no obvious reason it should stop working)

Tried but no luck. Problem remain same.

Is there any other suggestions please.

Hold down shift while opening Mail from the Dock.
