Mail Encryption - What to use ?

    Hello.

    I'll need to be encrypting some mail based on GPG.

    What do you guys use or recommend. A simple pluggin to Mail would be preferable from my end, but whatever it takes. Any advice appreciated.

    You can use Cryptix.app for encrypting the text... if that is what you want...

    I think you can get a GPG plugin for mail. PGP also has a plugin.

    My version of Cryptix doesn't work very well.

    You could always encrypt the text file via openssl in base64 mode (use -a), and copy and paste the contents into the email. Not elegant, though.

    there is also a free desktop version of the iphone TXTcrypt app that you can use [​IMG]

    if you want something more complex inside mail.app you can get GPGMail , also free
