    hi

after installing Mavericks over Snow Leopard when I opened Mail I had to re-set up my accounts - once i did this the mail send & receives etc

but most of my mail folders are missing - there are only five folders appearing out of about 20 mail folders that were there previously - but the ones that have re-appears are empty

also the inbox & outbox are empty (there were 100's of email in each of them)

this is my backup laptop that I use for travel and there were some important emails in the inbox that I really need access to

    any suggestions???

this has nothing to with the G-Mail problem by the way

they were messages from POP 3 email accounts on various servers
