Mail forgets rules on app restart

Hi,

I am having this frustrating issue on Mavericks with Mail. I setup some rules to redirect mail into folders, but when I quit and restart the app it has forgotten my rules and I have to do them all over again.

Anyone experienced this horrendously suicidal & hate inducing bug before?

Macmail Rules lost on restart

Same here and wondered if you ever discovered a solution ? I have an old set of rules and despite edits the old set returns after restarting the app. New rules only work whilst the app remains open.


I tried keeping a backup of newly modified file in /user/Library/mail/V2/MailData

and copy back in after restart ... but to no avail.
