Mail From Outlook

I see my e-mail (Pop)accounts have synched from Outlook.

I am just curious, how often does it check for new mail and is there a way I can set that?

Where I work, Outlook works as a "Push" function. In other words, as soon as I get an e-mail it is sent to my phone as well.
