Mail help (permissions)

Is there a way to set up the mail client so that user/s cannot delete mail? (I'm using Gmail and want to delete email only from within webmail).

You could use POP and setup gmail to "keep Gmail's copy in the inbox". IMAP may also work with "Do not automatically expunge messages" but I'm not sure about that.
