Hello
I am using Mail 1.3.9. Is there any way to send a read receipt to confirm someone has read my email? I am able to do this in the parallel universe known as Windows.
Thanks.
Mike

I don't think so, not even with Eudora (MS Office for Mac's mail tool). The read receipt is a capability of MS Exchange, so it's pretty much limited to use within Outlook, AFAIK. Sorry! Of course, since end users can disable the receipts, they rarely are that reliable anyway.

Edit: I have Eudora 10.x. Eudora 11 might do better (dunno).

Not by default.

this plugin will enable Mail to send read receipts to people who send you mail (if they request them). Edit: just seen this is not for Mail but for Entourage. Sorry.

this plugin will enable you to request read receipts in Mail.
