Mail Help

    CANNOT GET MAIL
    The user name or password for "My Gmail" is incorrect.

    ^That's the error that I'm getting on my iPhone. I checked the username and the password, and both are right.

    I went on my iMac, and the mail feature on that isn't working either! It says:

    Unable to Connect
    There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account "Gmail" or try again.
    The server returned the error: Invalid credentials (Failure)

    ^Then, it's asking me if I want to Stay Offline or Take All Accounts Online.

    No matter what I do, it just isn't working.

    Besides the Mail problem, my Internet still gets disconnected after I wake my iMac from sleep mode, but that's a different issue.

    Anyway, can someone help, please?

    What do you mean, when did I go there?

    I clicked on the link you gave me. I put in my email, password, and the captcha, and right below it said Sorry, my account has been disabled.

    Then it is 'disabled' ... I suspect due to too many incorrect password attempts ... i had this once with my gmail account some months back and I gave up ... after a few hours tried the same unlock and it worked ... no idea apart from that

    Yeah, its working now.

    I had them send a verification code to my phone through text, logged in, changed my password, and everything is working again.

    You should go back to settings and Mail and re-enter your password. If that doesnt work delete the account and set it up again, it will take 1 min...!
