Hi, i just set up my gmail account with apple's mail app. And i love mail, im using shapeshifter, and so i have a slick skin on mail and it looks great. But anyways its set up with my gmail account. I was wondering if it is possible to set it up so that if i delete a message from the mail app, it will delete the message from the gmail server? This is very important, and i would love to keep using mail.

thanks!

easy just go to your gmail account setting in your browser on the right and
-select "forwarding and pop"
-set the "When messages are accessed with POP" to delete gmail's copy

just as in the pic

but, it will move the email into your gmail trash once you download it to Mail.app
you could also archieve the copy also
