Problem: I have a 24" iMac. In Mail, incoming message fonts are often way too small to read. If I increase the size of the font in the preferences pane and reply I end up sending this huge font to the recipient.

Question: Is there a simple way just to select the View option to be larger? Like in Office docs I can select view to be whatever percent I want but it doesn't effect the actual font size in the document. This needs to affect the message contents when the email is open, not just the message list within Mail.

Thanks

COMMAND-SHIFT-PLUS should zoom everything in for you. It's also available as the Make Text Bigger feature in the View menu, in most apps. 🙂
