Mail in iOS 9 is craptastic

Mail doesn't check for emails automatically since iOS 9. I have to manually open it and refresh it to get my emails. Yes, push is on. It's incredibly annoying. Anyone else having email issues in iOS 9? They also don't push to my watch.

I'm on iOS 9.0.2.

I use BtMail through the stock  app.

This is an imap account which pushes emails to me every 15 minutes.

Edit: never mind, iOS 9 decided to change my gmail fetch setting to manual.
