totally cool
I'm in the midst of changing my email from my outlook express on my bronze laptop (9.2.2) to my iMac with Apple's Mail program. Everthing is working fine except for the fact that the outlook express seems to take the mail from the server and Apple's Mail seems to copy it over while leaving it on the server taking up room. I know this because after I check mail on my iMac I can walk right over to the PB and get the same mail. But it doesn't work the other way.

Does anybody have an idea why?

thanks in advance

Check your Account settings under preferences, there are options for how long the mail should be left on the server.

It is also removed from the server when you move the mail from the mail folder to a local mail folder. In other words, when you move the mail from "In" to some local folder.
