Mail Indicators in Lion

Slowly adjusting to Lion. I just noticed something odd with Mail. On the left frame where it lists the messages, it is only sporadically showing the indicator that I've responded to a message -- it seems to show it for some responses but not others. Any ideas? Thanks very much! Barb

I'm having similar issues. In the list of sent messages it doesn't have the paperclip indicating an attachment. However, when you look at the preview or open the sent message in its own window it shows the paperclip and the attachment, even though they never sent.

This is forcing me to migrate over to Outlook 2011, which isn't bad.
