Mail is "offline", how do I turn it back on?

Out of the blue a few days ago both my e-mail accounts stopped sending mail. It'll receive mail fine but just won't send them. I've tried all the fix's I can fine but nothing works, both accounts still say "offline" but how can they be put back "online"?

Any idea's?

Launch mail, go to mail menu -> accounts, click on mail/icloud drive icon -in right window make sure mail icon box is checked.

You could try removing and re-adding your mail accounts.

open mail--go to mailbox --click "take all accounts online"

Thanks but already is "on". Even tried taking off line and putting it back.
