Mail issues

Hi

I got my first ever MacBook the other day and went to set up my e-mail on the mail app. It accepted my Gmail account fine, so I added my iCloud account which it also accepted fine. However since then it has been unable to connect to Gmail for some reason. Can anyone help at all? I have attached a picture of the message for further details.

Mail sometimes plays up and requires you to manually enter the network details. I'm not sure what these are for Gmail, but this may help you:

Get used to see that message. Sometimes the mail from MacOs does that. Not often but..
