Hi all

Am just trying to set up mail under Leopard. Under Tiger there was an option to leave a copy of the mail on the server.

Can't see this option under Leopard - is this option available and if so where do I find it.

TIA

In Prefs->Accounts->Advanced. there is a check box that says
"Remove copy from server after retrieving message"

Why is it that the same feature isn't available for IMAP servers? I've had problems w/ Mail deleting all my emails (every now & then) from MobileMe.

Hello,

do you know how to leave UNSEEN copy of message on the server using mail.app? 😕

When downloading messages to my inbox, mail.app marking them as "read" on the server, which I would like to avoid .....any advice?

Thanks!

What about IMAP in Yosemite?

I have the same question - how can I tell the Mail app to leave a copy of messages on the server in Yosemite? The option noted above for POP does not appear in this same window in Yosemite for IMAP accounts. Little help?
