I have my work email set up on my iphone (3gs with 3.1.3) with correct imap settings. The issue is the most recent messages are not displayed. For example, my most recent message is from Monday right now. I have the same account setup on my desktop and everything is up to date.

If I search for a current message on my phone using the "continue search on server" function it will find the message and and display it in my inbox until the next send/receive. Then it disappears again.

I noticed changing the number of messages that display alters which what time frame shows. For example if I change the display to 100 it shows messages from yesterday as the latest and at 25 its only about an hour behind.

Otherwise, all other functions work as they should. I would really appreciate any help as this is driving me nuts!

I searched and couldn't find an answer. Sorry if its out there.
