Mail not enforcing rules with Gmail IMAP on 10.5

So recently I switched my Gmail account from POP to IMAP and have been having some problems, the most recent being that Mail no longer enforces my rules. Specifically I have a rule for any mail from Facebook to be moved to a Facebook mailbox on my Mac and marked as read - Mail does neither. How can I fix this? Thanks guys.

I'm having the same problem lately, only with the newest version.

It worked perfectly the first day I set up rules, but hasn't worked since.
